Wimbledon apartments snapped up off-plan

More than half of the second phase apartments at the Wimbledon Hill Park development have been sold off-plan, while work on the scheme progresses.

Homes are selling quickly at Wimbledon Hill Park

Berkeley Homes announced in November that over 50% of homes at Dukes Garden had been sold. Phase two of Wimbledon Hill Park includes 30 two and three-bedroom apartments, all with balconies and terraces. Completion is expected in the first half of 2017.

Work is also progressing on the following two phases of the scheme.

At Cedar Place, a showhome has just opened: this part of the development will be made up of six 243sq m four-bedroom mews villas featuring private gardens. These are scheduled for completion in the first or second quarter of 2017.

Wellington Row, phase four, will also be unveiled next year. and involves the restoration and conversion of the former Atkinson Morley Hospital into 27 apartments. It will be completed in mid-2017. Residents will also have access to a gym, a cinema room and a boardroom for meetings.

Tim Pettman, sales director at Berkeley Homes, said: “Purchasing a property at Wimbledon Hill Park isn’t just about buying a new home, it’s about buying into that sought-after London lifestyle, where leisure and business amenities are provided right on your doorstep. The difference with this development is that it is situated in an idyllic suburb, surrounded by countryside yet within easy reach of the centre of the city.”

Phase one of Wimbledon Hill Park, called Firs, includes eight detached houses. It was completed and fully occupied in 2015.
